Disabled Access is now a legislative requirement for all organizations and companies providing a service to the public.
Are you aware of the Disabled Access provisions contained within the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA)? - from October 2004, as a service provider, you should have made reasonable alterations to your property to accommodate disabled customers if you provide a service or facility to the public.
SDS Consultants are Chartered Surveyors who specialise in Disabled Access issues; we are able to undertake disabled access audits of your property to establish exactly what (if anything) you need to do.
Alterations to provide Disabled Access need not be expensive and with a trained eye looking at your premises and providing a detailed Disabled Access Audit it may well be that no changes will be required.
